Are you still outsourcing your global marketing?

In many companies the data from the website, social, email, CRM, and sales sits in separate places. Without seeing what actually produces an inquiry or a meeting, the same fees get paid to vendors year after year. Japan Consulting addresses all of this at once.
The real cost

You keep paying the fees, so why is none of it building an advantage?

Mid-market B2B companies in Japan spend an average of ¥4M to ¥24M a year on outsourced global marketing. What that money buys is deliverables, not capability.

Operating assets left in-house

When the contract ends, the knowledge and the strategy leave with the agency.
Every time

Context lost when the vendor changes

Past decisions, customer understanding, and the record of what worked are never handed over, so you explain it all from scratch each time.
Unmeasured

Direct contribution to your own competitiveness

You can keep paying the fees, but if no repeatable system stays inside the company, it never becomes an advantage.

The shift

With AI, CRM, and BI, in-house became a strategic option

Combine GA4, Search Console, HubSpot, and Looker/BI and you can see which article, which social post, and which white paper led to an inquiry or a meeting. The real value of working in-house is not only lower production cost. It's that the learning stays inside the company as data.

The new reality

Global marketing your own team can run

Bringing global marketing in-house was once unrealistic for a mid-market B2B company. Handling English content, international SEO, CRM operations, and reporting internally meant hiring specialists and carrying heavy fixed costs. That premise has changed. Combine generative AI, CRM, and BI tools and your own people can create content, nurture leads, and improve while checking results in numbers. Rather than depending on vendors, you build knowledge, data, and operating assets inside the company. We support that transition from design through build and improvement.

Cost comes down

Some of the English content, competitor research, and reporting you used to outsource can now be handled by your own team with AI tools. The structure shifts from buying the work each time to investing in a system that stays with you.

Speed goes up

Work that took days or weeks of briefing, review, and revision with an agency can move quickly inside your team. You can run the publish-and-improve cycle faster, in step with market shifts, competitor moves, and how prospects respond.

Knowledge accumulates

Content, customer understanding, competitor intelligence, inquiry data, and the record of what worked stay in-house. The longer you publish, the more marketing assets you own, ready to inform the next decision and the sales conversation.

Former listed-company CFO. 17 years. 500+ companies.

Adopting AI tools alone does not change global marketing. What is needed is a design that connects P&L, sales, web, CRM, content, and the way the organization operates. We bring a former listed-company CFO's financial perspective together with 17 years and more than 500 companies supported abroad, and we design in-house marketing for the AI era as a management decision.

Our own story

We outsourced too: the company that proved in-house on itself

We lived through outsourcing dependency, ran into its limits, and proved the in-house alternative on our own business. What we propose to clients is only what we have already practiced and verified. This is not theory and not an ideal. It's the road we took. From 2025, when we stopped outsourcing, to today, this website itself has been run on that method.
1

The years of depending on vendors

We commissioned overseas content production, SEO, and English writing to outside partners. Costs were high, the know-how never stayed with us, and we repeated the same briefing every year.
2

The point where it stopped working

The fees kept rising while our own global marketing capability did not grow at all. Every time the person in charge changed, the knowledge reset to zero.
3

2025 — the decision to bring it in-house

As AI tools advanced, we decided to take all of the outsourced work back. In six months we built the automation workflows in-house, through content production, SEO, and social posting.

This site is the evidence

This website is the proving ground for the Self-Driven Growth OS. Webflow, AI generation, SEO design, HubSpot, social distribution, GA4 and Search Console, and Looker/BI work together, and we test the move from outsourcing dependency to in-house operation and continuous improvement on ourselves.
The Self-Driven Growth Method™
From assessment through design, build, automation, and improvement. You can start at whichever phase fits your situation. Working through them in order reduces outsourcing dependency and leaves operating assets and an improvement cycle inside the company.

Bringing AI in-house safely: Human Approval, Data Boundary, Audit Trail

In-house AI takes more than tools. How far customer data may be used, who checks AI output, which content may be published, which data feeds BI. Only once these are designed does AI become a safe operating base.
• Human Approval: a person signs off before anything is published
• Data Boundary: control over what customer and confidential data goes in
• Audit Trail: an operating log of generation, review, and approval
